A Resolution of The City Commission of The City Of Tamarac, Florida authorizing the issuance of
not to exceed $19,000,000 in aggregate principal amount City Of Tamarac, Florida Capital
Improvement Revenue Bonds, Series 2018 for the purpose of financing and/or reimbursing the cost
of acquiring, designing, constructing, reconstructing and equipping of various capital improvements
of the City, including without limitation capital improvements to the city's sound walls, Fire Station
and Parks and Recreation; covenanting to budget and appropriate legally available non-ad valorem
revenues to provide for the payment thereof; making certain covenants and agreements for the
benefit of the holders of such bonds; authorizing certain officials and employees of the city to take
all actions required in connection with the sale, issuance and delivery of such bonds; taking certain
other actions with respect to such bonds; authorizing and approving the negotiated sale of such

Understanding (MOU) between The City Of Tamarac and The City Of Pompano Beach, Florida for
the submittal of a regional assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) application to the US Department
Of Homeland Security (DHS) via The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on behalf
of The City Of Tamarac and a coalition of local agencies to apply for AFG Funds for the provision of
fire station alerting system equipment; providing for The City Of Pompano Beach to serve as the
lead agency applying for AFG Funds and for the administration of the AFG Grant Award in the event
of approval of the application; authorizing the appropriate city officials to accept a regional AFG
Grant Award and to execute the necessary documents pending legal review for fire station alerting
system equipment in an amount not to exceed $200,000; providing for a 15% match in local funds
not to exceed $30,000 in the event of approval of the application; providing for conflicts; providing for
severability; and providing for an effective date.
