b.TR13035 - Authorize Approval of Colony West Hotel Source Removal Project

A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, to approve proposal by EnviroDesign Associates, Inc. (“EDA”) for nterim source removal of arsenic impacted soils at Colony West Hotel Site, located at 6800 NW 88th Avenue in an amount not to exceed a contract cost of $142,000.00, a contingency in the amount of $28,400.00 will be added for a project total not to exceed $170,400.00; and to authorize the appropriate City Officials to execute procurement and implementation of said proposal; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; providing for an effective date.

c.TR13040 - Fire Station 36 Leasing Agreement Renewal

A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida to approve a leasing agreement renewal with Advanced Modular Structures, Inc. for Fire Station 36 temporary quarters for a twenty-four month leasing term at a total cost not to exceed $44,400 with an effective date upon execution of the leasing agreement; while the construction of permanent Fire Station 36 building takes place; authorizing the appropriate City Officials to execute the leasing agreement renewal for the temporary quarters for Fire rescue 36; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.

d.TR13023 - Ronald L. Book-Agreement Renewal Amendment #15

A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida approving Amendment #15, to the Agreement between the City of Tamarac and Ronald L. Book, P.A. for Lobbying Services, extending the Agreement for one year through January 25, 2019, at a cost not to exceed Fifty-Nine Thousand Four Hundred ($59,400) Dollars per year; authorizing the appropriate City Officials to execute the Amendment to the Agreement for Lobbying Services; providing for conflicts; providing for severability and providing for an effective date.

e.TR13032 - Benefits Plan Renewal

A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida amending the Benefits Plan for members of the Commission, appointed officials, Executive, Managerial/Professional and Administrative Non-bargaining employees effective January 1, 2018; authorizing appropriate budget transfers; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.

f.TR13037 - Accepting the 3rd Amendment to the School Board Amended and Restated Interlocal Agreement

A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, approving and authorizing execution of the Third Amended and Restated Interlocal Agreement for Public School Facilities between the City of Tamarac, Broward County Public Schools, and Broward County attached hereto as Exhibit “A”; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.

h.TR13044 - Agreement Amendment #1 with Supersports of Broward County, Co., Inc.

A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, authorizing the appropriate City Officials to execute Agreement Amendment #1 between the City of Tamarac and Supersports of Broward County, Company, Inc., exercising the first of three one year options to renew the Agreement to provide for Sports Officiating Services at a cost of $59,357 for a one-year period effective December 14, 2017-December 13, 2018; authorizing the City Manager to approve and execute all future renewal options; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing an effective date.

i.TR13042 - Tamarac Village Infrastructure Interlocal Funding Agreement (Broward County Grant Agreement)

A Resolution by the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida approving the Tamarac Village Infrastructure Interlocal Funding Agreement (Broward County Grant Agreement) between the Tamarac Village Community Development District and the City of Tamarac; authorizing the Mayor to execute the Funding Agreement; providing for conflicts; providing for severability and providing for an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, amending Chapter 10, of the City’s Code of Ordinances, entitled “Land Development Regulations” by amending Article VI, Section 10-333 entitled “Public School Concurrency” to  revise  the Level of Service standard for Public School facilities in conformity with the Broward County Public Schools Third Amended and Restated Interlocal Agreement for Public School Facility Planning and the City of Tamarac Comprehensive Plan; providing for inclusion in the City of Tamarac Code of Ordinances; providing for severability; providing for conflicts; and providing for an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, amending the Public School Facilities Element attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and the Capital Improvements Element attached hereto as Exhibit “B” of the  City of Tamarac Comprehensive Plan in order to meet the Public School Concurrency requirements of the Broward County Public Schools Third Amended Interlocal Agreement for Public School Facility Planning; providing for transmittal to the reviewing agencies and the State Land Planning Agency; providing for severability; providing for conflicts; and providing for an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida amending Chapter 24 of the City’s Code of Ordinances, entitled “Zoning” by amending Article III, Division 16 entitled “B-3, General Business District” by specifically amending Section 24-369 entitled “Special Regulations”, amending Division 18 entitled “B-6, Business District” by creating Section 24-414 entitled “Special Regulations” to provide for site development  standards for self-storage facilities, and amending Division 19  entitled “Business and Commercial Uses Master List” by specifically amending Section 24-434 entitled “Permitted Uses Master List”, to establish self-storage facility as a permitted use subject to Special Exception approval by the City Commission in the B-6, Business Zoning District,  in conformity with the City of Tamarac Comprehensive Plan; providing for codification; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.
